Our Services

Treatments are planned by licensed dentists after reviewing your records.

Dental Implants

Replacement of missing teeth with titanium or zirconia implants and crowns.

Learn more

Who it may suit

People missing one or more teeth with enough jawbone and good general health, as assessed by a dentist. Smokers, diabetics or those with gum disease need individual evaluation.

Typical steps

Exam and CBCT scan → treatment plan → implant placement (bone graft only if needed) → healing period → impression/scan → final crown fitted.

Visits / time in Guangzhou

Usually two trips: about 5–7 days for placement, then about 5–7 days for the crown after roughly 3–6 months of healing — as advised by your dentist.

What to prepare

Recent X-rays or CBCT if you have them, clear photos of your teeth, medical history and current medications.

Aftercare notes

Soft diet for the first days, no smoking, keep the area clean as instructed, attend reviews and keep your implant brand/batch card for future maintenance at home.

General information only. Suitability, steps and timing are decided by your treating dentist after examination; results vary and are not guaranteed.

Visits / time in Guangzhou

Commonly one stay of about 7–10 days, sometimes 2–3 visits within it — as advised by your dentist.

What to prepare

Smile photos (front and side), any recent X-rays, and a note of the look you hope for.

Aftercare notes

Avoid biting very hard objects, consider a night guard if you grind, keep regular check-ups.

General information only. Suitability, steps and timing are decided by your treating dentist after examination; results vary and are not guaranteed.

Often about 5–7 days in one stay; more if root canal work is needed first — as advised by your dentist.

What to prepare

Recent X-rays, photos of the teeth involved, and records of previous dental work.

Aftercare notes

If something goes wrong

Written terms confirmed on your personal quote

Aftercare and warranty terms are confirmed in writing before treatment. The figures below are the clinic’s standard written terms for overseas patients; your personal quote may adjust them for your case.

Warranty (scope & years)

Clinic repair/replacement cover (not an outcome guarantee): implant fixtures 5 years; abutments 5 years; implant crowns, zirconia crowns and porcelain veneers 3 years. Where the implant brand provides a manufacturer material warranty, that runs in parallel. Grinding without a prescribed guard, trauma, poor hygiene and third-party alterations are typically excluded. Exact years and exclusions are written into your quote.

Remote follow-up after you return home

Video or WhatsApp check-ins with your Guangzhou dentist can be arranged. We can also help you share records with a local dentist in Australia, New Zealand or your home city.

Full records & X-rays

You receive digital copies of treatment notes, panoramic/CBCT images and the implant passport (batch numbers) before you leave — or by secure link shortly after.

Return-trip for covered warranty work

If a covered warranty issue needs chairside correction, the clinic schedules a return-visit treatment window and remakes or repairs the work at the treating clinic at no clinical charge for the covered item. Flights and hotels remain the patient’s responsibility unless your signed quote says otherwise. This is a repair/remake policy, not a treatment-outcome guarantee — confirm the signed terms before booking.

Written warranty scope

Written terms confirmed on your personal quote

The periods below are Ruibo Dental’s standard clinic repair/replacement terms for overseas patients. They cover remaking or repairing covered work — not a guarantee of treatment outcome. Exact years and exclusions are confirmed on your personal quote.

How a claim usually works

Show details ▾
  1. Report the problem in writing within the warranty period, with photos and, if possible, a recent X-ray from your local dentist.
  2. The clinic reviews it remotely and says whether it falls under warranty.
  3. Covered work is repaired, adjusted or remade at the treating clinic at no clinical charge for the covered item; refunds are uncommon.
  4. Return flights and hotel are paid by the patient unless your signed quote says otherwise.

Guangdong rule

Show details ▾
Guangdong's 2023 implant pricing rules require clinics to provide quality warranty and repair for implants, abutments and crowns they place, and to repair or remake items damaged within warranty free of charge. The rules do not set a number of years — the years above are Ruibo’s written clinic terms, confirmed on your personal quote.

Materials & brands

⚠ Example info from public sources — does not mean all partner clinics use these brands; confirm in your personal plan

What patients usually ask about before implants or crowns: which system, which material, and what paperwork you take home. Information below is compiled from public sources.

Implant systems seen in China (examples by origin)

GroupExamplesNotes
Swiss / SwedishStraumann (incl. Anthogyr), Nobel BiocareLong-established international systems with wide global service networks; usually the higher-priced group in China.
US / GermanDentsply Sirona (Astra Tech), Zimmer Biomet, CamlogDentsply Implants took part in China’s 2023 procurement; availability of other brands varies by clinic.
KoreanOsstem, Dentium, MegaGen, DIO, NeobiotechOfficial reports describe Osstem and Dentium as the highest-demand systems in China’s market.
Chinese domesticWeigao (威高), Baikangte (百康特), Chuangying (创英) and othersSeveral domestic makers won places in the 2023 national procurement; less common outside China, so check home-country parts support.

China’s 2023 implant procurement

Show details ▾

In Jan 2023 an inter-provincial alliance (guided by the National Healthcare Security Administration) ran volume-based procurement of implant systems: 55 companies bid, 39 won, average price cut 55%. Winners included Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Dentsply, Osstem, Dentium, MegaGen and domestic makers such as Weigao and Baikangte. This mainly affects public hospitals and participating private clinics — ask whether your quote uses a procurement-listed product.

Regulatory registration

Show details ▾

In China, implants must be registered with the NMPA (China’s medical device regulator). In Australia, devices are listed on the TGA’s ARTG: public ARTG entries exist for sponsors Straumann Pty Ltd, Nobel Biocare Australia and Osstem Australia. We did not verify Dentium or MegaGen entries, nor New Zealand (Medsafe/WAND) status. An ARTG entry for a sponsor does not prove a specific product line or lot is covered — verify with your clinic and the official registers.

Crown & veneer materials

Show details ▾

Zirconia (e.g. 3M Lava, Kuraray Katana, Dentsply Cercon): very strong, often chosen for back teeth, implants and bridges; less translucent than glass-ceramics, though layered/multilayer types look more natural.

Lithium disilicate (e.g. Ivoclar IPS e.max): most translucent, popular for front teeth and veneers; lower strength than zirconia, so less suited to heavy back-tooth loads or long bridges.

Porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM): long track record and durable; porcelain can chip and a dark metal line may show if gums recede. Ask which alloy is used.

Implant passport & lot numbers

Show details ▾

An implant passport/card records the brand, product reference (REF), lot/batch number, diameter and length, tooth position, date, the abutment type and its REF/lot, and the clinic and surgeon. Abutments, screws and drivers are often system-specific, so a dentist at home needs these details to source matching parts and to trace a batch if there is a safety notice.

Questions to ask before treatment

  • Which implant brand and exact model/line will be used?
  • Will I get the lot numbers and an implant passport or sticker card?
  • Which abutment (stock, custom, original or third-party) and crown material?
  • Is this system registered in my home country, and can local dentists service it?
  • What warranty applies, for how long, and what is excluded? Is it in writing?
  • Will I receive my CBCT scans, X-rays, treatment notes and lab prescriptions to take home?
